Title: The Vindicator- Cleveland State University’s Arts and Culture Magazine

As the Art Director for The Vindicator, Cleveland State University's arts and culture magazine, I oversaw the visual direction and ensured each issue met high design and production standards.
 

Responsibilities included:

• Recruiting and managing a team of designers, pairing them with articles to align with their artistic vision.

• Designing 13-22 pages per issue, maintaining a cohesive and visually engaging layout.

• Revising and refining designers’ work to meet the magazine's established design standards.

• Sending all final files to print and coordinating the print production schedule.

• Overseeing the distribution of physical magazines on campus and throughout the Cleveland community.

• Collaborating with writers and editors to create visuals that complemented student-written articles.
   

With an issue released monthly, I contributed to three issues, fostering a collaborative environment focused on producing a magazine that reflects Cleveland’s culture and the CSU community. This project emphasized the power of community-centered design, uniting diverse creative voices under a shared vision.
